Welcome to St. Vincent's Catholic Primary School
Choosing the right school for your child is perhaps one of the most important decisions you will have to make. This website, and the ever-growing information within it, is just one of the many ways that you can find out about what St. Vincent’s family can offer both your child and yourselves, as you pursue both your learning and spiritual journeys through faith, hope and love.
At St. Vincent’s, we aim to provide a welcoming, happy and stimulating environment, where we are committed to ensuring the development of the whole child and the belief that every child is unique and can achieve their very best.
We aim to promote the Catholic Faith through an inclusive Christian community and we strive to live out our Mission Statement in our everyday life and work – To Love and Serve as Jesus Shows Us. Our school is part of the Parish of St. Joseph’s and all children are offered the opportunity to receive the Sacraments of Eucharist, Confirmation and Reconciliation through the Parish programmes, supported by the school.
Our curriculum has been devised with the diverse needs of all of our children in mind. We believe that their input into its design, is vital to ensure the excellence and enjoyment that we strive for. Our Religious Education programme, ‘Come and See’, supports our aim that Gospel Values are the foundations of St. Vincent’s.
We are very proud of our school and all the people within it. All the staff work hard to ensure that we provide the best possible experience for both you and your child whilst you are with us. This is only possible by establishing and maintaining high-quality relationships between, pupils, staff, parents, Governors and St. Joseph’s Parish, which we see as our responsibility to nurture.
We would like to extend a warm invitation to parents and carers to view our school at work, so that you can experience our ethos and ‘family atmosphere’ first-hand.
